My husband and I recently moved to a senior duplex and left our house ladder, no longer needed, behind. We needed something to reach high cabinets and shelves. We are both over 225 pounds so the Cosco step stools sold locally were not for us. This is the same but for up to 300 pounds. It is perfect. Solidly built. Nice, broad steps with a back to hold on to. Not wobbly. It has a mechanism to lock it into place when you are going to stand on it. I expect it to last us for our needs for the rest of our years on planet earth as we are 56 and 47 respectively.

300 lb step ladder at this price (under $90) is a very good deal. I have about 10 of them at my office...and they work great. Highly Recommend.

I purchased this item, because I have problems getting up ladders. This thing has wide steps, and a hand hold. It is VERY stable and worth the purchase price. It allows you to go to about 8ft (stool plus your height), it doesn't wobble and is better than a convention two step -- step stool.
